PREPARATION FOR YOUR DETOX CLEANSE
A good reduction is half the detox! Just like a 10 km run, it is not easy to just do a juice cleanse and prepare your body for it. We have therefore drawn up the following 10 golden rules for you. In addition to these 10 golden rules, also check the eating schedules that you get in the build-up and breakdown recipe book. You can download this book halfway through this page and you will receive it with your juices. Here are the 10 golden detox rules:
10 GOLDEN DETOX RULES
1) Plan your detox!
2) Eat as clean as possible in the days leading up to your detox.
3) Slowly reduce your coffee, one less each day.
4) Try to eat vegetarian in the last few days before your detox.
5) Avoid alcohol, greasy food and sweets.
6) Also preferably no red meat, because that takes a long time for your intestines to digest.
7) Do not eat carbohydrates from white grains (think white bread, white pasta) in the last days before your detox
8) Try to eat a maximum of 3 times a day, max. 2 snacks
9) Try the recipes from the included recipe book for your build-up and breakdown days
10) Prepare yourself mentally, what do you want to achieve with the detox

WHY<span class="ws-color-red" A DETOX JUICE CLEANSE
We’ve kind of lost our relationship with food. We eat because we are stressed, out of emotion, out of habit, out of impulse. More and more people are also becoming insulin resistant by eating too much sugar and are not getting enough of the signal that there is already enough insulin.
Every time you eat something, your immune system is activated. With the detox you really give your immune system a few days of rest. That reset gives your body the space to recover and that provides many health benefits. You also break through a sugar addiction and you break less healthy diets.
TIPS
In between you can always drink unlimited water, green tea and herbal tea. With a detox juice cure, the more you drink, the better. This helps your body to remove waste products faster. Exercise – not too intensive – alternating showers or a sauna visit also helps! Do you want to keep working out during your detox juice cleanse? Keep in mind that you are in a calorie deficit and so don’t ask too much of yourself. When exercising, take an extra protein source in addition to your juices, such as a handful of unroasted nuts or the protein of a boiled egg.
